limestone statue of heroic Narragansett tribal Chief Canonchet.

Narragansett Indian Monument
Kingstown Road and Strathmore Street. Carved from a single Douglas fir
by Peter Toth, this 23-foot sculpture is one of 41 throughout the
country honoring the American Indian.
Narragansett Pier Beach Ocean Road. Long, southeast facing beach with
long, smooth-breaking waves. Offers some of the best East Coast surfing.
