As another benefit of your Chamber membership, you are allowed to utilize our Bulk Mail Permit

BULK MAILING GUIDELINES

Prior to mailing:

· Drop off a sample of the piece to be mailed to the Chamber office. We will review and make recommendations.
· A minimum of 200 pieces is necessary for a bulk mailing.
· Pieces that are trifolded must have the FOLD along the bottom (top open) and must be taped closed one inch up. NO STAPLES!!!
· All pieces within a mailing must be uniform (same envelope, same weight, etc.)
· There will be a $10.00 handling fee payable to the Chamber for this service.
o The fee will be included in your bulk mail bill.

Please note if the mailing is not ready for the post office, there will be an additional charge of $20.00 per hour to process the mailing.

Process:

1. Show or explain your mailing to staff members and see if it meets USPS guidelines (folding, location of printing, etc.)
2. All pieces must have our Bulk Mail Stamp on them – Either manually with our stamp or it can be preprinted if you are creating a document (There is a 48 hour time limit for usage of the bulk mail stamp).
3. Items need to be separated by zip code and tallied on the enclosed form. The packages must be sorted with elastic bands to separate the various zip codes.
4. Once items are delivered to the Chamber office, we will complete the necessary form for payment to the post office.
5. You will be notified of the payment (including the $10.00 fee to the Chamber) and when the payment is received the mailing will be delivered to the Post Office.
